Who we are

The Educational Organisation “Athlos non-profit association”, in short “ATHLOS asbl” was created on August 11, 2023, with the objective of promoting innovative projects in the fields of education, culture and sport. To this end, Athlos implements educational programs and organises cultural events. By organising interactive cinema and theatre sessions, sports events and festivals, we engage in four areas:

Learning: We develop educational material for students on education and social subjects, adapted to their age.

Understanding: We aim to promote an understanding of social changes and social issues through actions focused on current topics.

Participating: Through the organisation of cultural events and projects, we encourage young people to participate, become involved in social challenges and express themselves fully in formal and non-formal educational settings.

Dialogue and Exchange: We develop projects that facilitate dialogue and the exchange of ideas and diverse approaches in addressing the challenges posed by society.

The themes covered by our educational, cultural and sports activities include:

• Violence and Bullying in schools, family and society and ways of dealing with such issues
• Internet safety
• Encouraging sports and physical activity
• Art as the key to building a society with tolerance towards diversity, differences of opinion, coexistence and the flourishing of ideas and noble ideals.
